Montie Larry Largin, Sr., age 83, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024.  Montie was born in Galax, Virginia on August 10, 1941.  He was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Largin Cruise and grandparents Garnet and Annice Largin.

Montie is survived by his wife of 48 years Ann W. Largin, children Grace Gertin (Mike), Larry Largin (Angie), David Largin, and Greg Hicks (Denise); brothers Jerry Cruise (Erin), Ike Cruise (Cathy) Dennis Cruise (Betty).  Nine (9) grandchildren, ten (10) great grandchildren and one (1) great-great grandchild also survive.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 29, 2024 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Rebecca Taylor officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until time for the service.  Masonic Rights will be conducted at the service.
