Moier Rush Dalton, 101, of Hillsville passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Waddell Nursing and Rehab. Mr. Dalton was preceded in death by his beloved wife Earlene Dalton.

Mr. Dalton was born in Carroll County on March 9, 1920 to the late George and Vanetta Goad Dalton.In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two (2) sisters and four (4) brothers and a grandson.

Mr. Dalton proudly served his country in the Army during World War II.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Moier Leon Dalton and Linda of Fairlawn and Roger Dale Dalton and Pat of Boone, NC; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A private graveside service with burial following will be held at Monta Vista Memory Gardens with Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating.   Military rites will be conducted at the graveside by Hillsville Grover King Post 1115.
