Mittie Lou Coltrane, 69 of Tampa, Florida, originally from Hillsville, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Tampa General Hospital. Ms. Coltrane was born in Carreta, West Virginia to the late Lymon Coltrane and Lottie Crawford. Ms. Coltrane is survived by her sisters Shirley Martin and Frieda Deskins both of Hillsville; sister-in-law June Coltrane of Austinville; and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
