Misty Dawn Davis, 26, of Hillsville, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2012. She was born in Galax on October 11, 1985 and was preceded in death by her father, Darvin Gene Davis. Survivors include her mother and step-father, Sheryl and James Bailey of Hillsville; daughter, Destiny Ligon of Galax; son, Miguel Quintana of Hillsville; sister, Kristy Davis of Hillsville; grandmothers Mildred Davis of Mount Airy, NC and Burdeena Barker of Hillsville; nephews, Joseph Brueckner and Logan Largen; uncles, Tony Davis and Melody and Ronny Dalton and Sandra; and cousins, Jenifer Davis, Katlyn Davis, Brandon Davis, Whitney Dalton, and Victoria Dalton. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 21, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. Burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery in Fancy Gap. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 20, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
