Miriam Pearl Hall McKay, 87 of Max Meadows, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mrs. McKay was born in Floyd County, Virginia to the late James Clyde and Ocie Laura Radford Light. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husbands, Clinton Hall and Rev. Clyde McKay; four sisters; one brother; and step children, Clyde McKay, Jr. and Daryl McKay.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Treva Hall; step son and spouse, Boyd and Ellisa McKay; sister and brother-in-law, Audrey and Frank Lawson; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Brother David Akers and Brother James Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shorts Creek Church of God. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
