Minerva A. Largen, 89 of Dugspur, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Ms. Largen is survived by daughter & son-in-law Alice Sue & Lenford Goad of Dugspur; son David Allen Largen of Roanoke; sister & brother-in-law Bertie & Ray Isaacs of Mt. Airy, NC; four grandchildren Mark Goad, James Goad, Scott Goad and David Largen; three great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Friday, August 10, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Nester Cemetery in Laurel Fork with Rev. Elmon Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Thursday, August 9, 2007 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
