Milton Orby Montgomery, 89, of Hillsville passed away on Friday, February 24, 2012 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. He was preceded in death by wife Wavy Mae Montgomery; parents, Benjamin Franklin and Lucy Evelyn Vass Montgomery; sister, Vergie Montgomery Dalton; brother, William Howard Montgomery. He is survived by two sons and daughter in-law, Tony G. and Jerri L. Montgomery of Draper and Lloyd Montgomery of Hillsville; sister in-law, Phyllis Harold Montgomery of Dublin. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Rome Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Terry McMillan and Elder Melvin McGrady officiating. Burial will follow at Rome Cemetery, The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 27, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
