Milton G. Horton, 83 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2008 at Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Horton was born in Carroll County to the late Orville & Mae Webb Horton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Rita Horton; brothers Estel and Alton Horton and sisters Iva Lou Horton and Nellie Horton. Mr. Horton is survived by his son & daughter-in-law Butch & Melody Horton of Fancy Gap; brother & sister-in-law Eldon & Sandra Horton of Fancy Gap; sisters Illa Davis of Fancy Gap and Belle Horton of Galax; grandson Andrew Horton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at Skyview Missionary Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Wendell Horton and Rev. Gary Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb-Sky View Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Saturday, October 18, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
