Millie S. Henley, 89, of Allisonia passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband James William Henley. She is survived by five sons and daughters-in-laws Bill & Betty Henley of Hillsville, Donald & Ruth Henley of Hillsville, Robert James Henley of Allisonia, Paul Henley of Allisonia, and Freddy & Helen Henley of Allisonia; four daughters & sons-in-laws Dorothy J. & Harold Smith of Galax, Juanita & Dempsey Goad of Hillsville, Lois J. Peterman of Allisonia and Linda M. & Lawrence Nichols of Allisonia; sister Helen Montgomery of Allisonia; fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, one great great grandson; special caregiver & companion Roy Calvin Reynolds. Several nieces & nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 02, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Dinwiddie Presbyterian Church with Pastor Chris Carlisle officiating. Burial will follow in the Dry Pond Cemetery. The Family will receive friends on Friday, January 01, 2010 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
