Mildred Ann Horton, 56, of Hillsville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was born in Hillsville, VA on January 18, 1958 to the late Troy Clinton and Ina Mae (Doll) Jennings Horton. She is survived by her sister, Linda Horton; brothers, Virgil Horton and special friend Sandra Hobson and James Horton and wife Debbie; niece, Kacie Lynn Horton; nephew, Ethan Dale Horton; step niece and spouse, Bessie and Allan Hilbert; step great nieces, Jessica Hawks and Chelsey Mullins; step great nephew, Keith Hawks; step great-great niece Charleigh Ann Lynch; step great-great nephews, Leland Hawks, Clinton Lynch, and Bentley Hawks; aunt, Susie Jennings; uncle and aunt, Walter and Joyce Jennings; special friend, Penny; and several cousins and special friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 31, 2014 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Eugene Baldwin, Rev. Norman Goad, and Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 5:30 until 8:00 PM.
