Mildred Ophelia Goad, 83 of Navarre, Ohio, passed away Friday, November 21, 2008 after a brief illness. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister and will be deeply missed by all. Ophelia was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac L. Goad and two brothers. She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law Rita & Bill Anderegg and Brenda & John Matthews all of Canton, OH; four grandsons; three great grandchildren; five brothers Dean, Ray, John, Bob and Coy Vaughn; three sisters Dessie White, Guida Hillick and Annie Austin; and a host of nieces, nephew, family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at 12:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Norman Goad officiating. Burial will follow in the Pickett Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM prior to the funeral service.
