Mildred Quesenberry Cooley , 94, formerly of Hillsville, Va., passed away on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016 at Countryside Manor. A memorial service will be held at Hillsville Christian Church in Hillsville, VA on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Amanda Hatfield Moore officiating. Visitation will be held at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel from 12:00PM until 1:00 PM prior to memorial service. Interment will be at Coal Creek Cemetery in Coal Creek, Va.

Mildred worked at C.E. Ridge Dime Store for over 30 years in Hillsville.

Midlred was preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mack Quesenberry Sr., brothers Carlos Quesenberry, Joseph Mack Quesenberry Jr., and Tom Quesenberry. Her husband of 69 years, Jack Cooley, passed December 22, 2013.

Mildred leaves to cherish her memories, sons Bobby Cooley and wife Marsha, Jerry Cooley and wife Joyce; grandchildren Penny Cooley Loschin, Corey Cooley, Chris Cooley, and Brian Cooley; great-grandchildren Nicholas Loschin, Stephen Cooley, Ainsley Cooley and Ryland Cooley.

Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
