Mildred Burline Alderman Smith, 81, of Dublin, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2006 at Trinity Mission of Hillsville. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband Glen T. (Tommy) Smith; father Charles Everette Alderman; mother America Leigh Howlette Alderman; step mother Hallie J. Alderman; brothers Charles Elvis Alderman and Swanson Odell Alderman and a sister Helena Belle Alderman Pettry. She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law Gloria & Garland Bolen of Hillsville, Kathy & Ralph Atkins of Dublin and Teresa & John Staton of New Lebanon, OH; son Daniel T. Smith of Pulaski; brothers & sisters-in-law Frank Alderman of Fries, Roscoe & Lorraine Alderman of Dugspur, Kenneth & Goldie Alderman of Hillsville, Glenn & Bobbie Alderman of Fries, Douglas & Dorothy Alderman of Fries and Everette & Dreama Alderman of Hillsville; sister Lily Zennith Moore of Fries; sisters-in-law Nina Alderman, Sadie Alderman Funk and Evelyn Smith Farmer; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at the Dublin Church of God at 11:00 AM with Rev. Michael Collins and Rev. D.G. Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday night from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
