Mikle Eugene Dixon, Jr. 6 of Hillsville passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2008 at Brenners Children Hospital. Mikle is survived by his mother Shannon Haynes of Hillsville; father Mikle Dixon; sisters Haley Dixon and Heather Phillips of Mt. Airy; brother Deven Haynes of Hillsville; maternal grandparents Odell & Violet Haynes of Hillsville and Dorothy & Roger Hill of Cana; and paternal grandparents Mary Dixon of Mt. Airy and Ronnie Dixon of Mt. Airy.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Mr. Kelly Haynes officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Cana. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
