Michael Allan Nester, 44 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows.  Mr. Nester was born in Radford, Virginia on March 9, 1977.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Debra Thompson Nester and brother, Bryan Nester.

Survivors include his wife, Dawn Nester; children, Kyle Nester, Kadence Nester and Abygail Smith; father Jerry Nester and Brenda; sister, Sheena Nester Marshall; grandmother, Shirlene Slate; and several nieces, nephews and other family members.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Laurel Fork Primitive Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Pastor Steven Puckett officiating.  Burial will follow in the Nester Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
