Michael Joseph Cunningham, age 65, of Hillsville passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Grayson Nursing and Rehab, Independence, Virginia. Michael was born in Norfolk, Virginia October 29, 1952 to the late James Thomas Cunningham, Sr. and Mary Kemp Cunningham Hickey.

He is survived by brother and sister-in-law: James Thomas Cunningham, Jr. and wife Susan of Hillsville, Virginia; half brother Jerry Hickey of Sylvatus; niece Bridgett Cunningham Cavita of Monroe, North Carolina.

Services will be held at a later date.
