Merline Phillips Davis, 68 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Davis was born in Carroll County to the late Rufus & Sadie Coleman Phillips. She is survived by her husband Willie Davis, of the home, children Willie Chester Davis, Jr. of Covington, Ga., Randy Davis, Hillsville, Teresa Price, Hillsville, Jeff Davis, Fancy Gap, Cindy Lambe, Fancy Gap, sister Emma Riggins, Galax.

At the request of Mrs. Davis, she will be cremated and there will not be any services. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
