Maynard B. Poole, 82 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Poole is survived by his wife Doris E. Poole of the home; stepson & spouse Steven & Jean Lyon of Hillsville; step granddaughter Stephanie Lyon and step great granddaughter Bethanie Hale.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted at the graveside by the Hillsville V.F.W. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday one hour prior to the funeral service.
