Maybell L. Harris, 78 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at Golden Living Center in Galax, VA. Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her parents Elzie & Sarah Ann Boyd Lewis; husband Allen Harris; brothers John & Nelson Lewis; and sister Nellie Horton. She is survived by her sons & daughter-in-law Terry & Pam Harris and Gerald Harris all of Hillsville; siblings Azalee Dalton of Goodland, IN, Avery L. Lewis of Remington, TN, Jake Lewis of Hillsville, Lola Horton of Hillsville and Estes Leftwich of Hillsville; four grandchildren Kimberly Edwards, Kevin Harris, Kelly Pack, and Monica Harris; and four great grandchildren Jacob Taylor, Kelsey Horton, Taylor Edwards, and Sierra Harris.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. J.B. Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the Isaac Banks Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM till service time.
