Mavis Terry Williams, 88 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 at Carrington Place in Wytheville. Mrs. Williams was born in Patrick County to the late Conway and Bonnie Stanley Terry. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her spouses, Homer Collins, Curtis E. Marshall, and Ronnie Williams.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Ann Collins of Hillsville, Ray and Kathy Marshall of Walkertown, NC, and Bruce and Evonne Marshall of Kernersville, NC; sister and brother-in-law, Chrystal and Frank Barnard of Meadows of Dan; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; one niece; and one nephew.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Rome Missionary Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Terry McMillian and Winston Puckett officiating. Inurnment will be held at the Stanley Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for funeral expenses. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
