Maudie Dalton Quesenberry, 86 of Statesville, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Gordon Hospice Home in Statesville. Mrs. Quesenberry was born in Willis, Virginia to the late Luther Everette and Nelvie Mitchell Dalton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Vinton Quesenberry, Sr.; son, Wesley Glen Carr; daughter, Deborah Ann White; two sisters; and three brothers.

Survivors include her children, Richard Eugene Windgate (Carol), Teresa Donaldson (Jack), Lesa Quesenberry, and Robert Vinton Quesenberry, Jr. (Christy); brothers, Elwood Dalton (Bobbie Lou), Harley Dalton, and Curtis Dalton; eleven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Joe Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the LB Quesenberry cemetery in Floyd County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
