Maudie H. Grace, 83 of Hillsville, passed away on December 31, 2015 at the Twin County Regional Hospital. She was born in Carroll County to the late Lawrence Jefferson and Louisa Bowman Horton. She is also preceded In death by her husband, Joel Benjamin Grace, Sr. and her two brothers, Joseph E. Horton and Elman (Slim) Horton.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joel B. Grace and wife Kelly Jo of, Marietta, GA., and a sister Valda Hawks of, Hillsville. She also survived by her sisters-in-law, Betty Jean Lewis of Cottondale, AL and Linda Joy Holloway of Brookwood, AL.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Mike Wells officiating. Burial will follow in the Tuscaloosa Memorial Park in Tuscaloosa, AL. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. until time of services. In lieu of flowers you may make donations to the charity of choice. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Grace family.
