Mattie Goad Goad, 87 of Woodlawn, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Ms. Goad was born in Carroll County, VA to the late Charles F. and Osee Hull Goad.

Survivors include her sons, John Goad, Carson Goad; and Linville Goad; daughter, Juanita Goad; special caregivers, Darlene Baker, Mabel Briyson, Marsha Taylor, Pat Terry, and Sherry Felts; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Rudy L. Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
