Massie Arwood White, age 72, of Dublin, went home to be with the Lord on September 5, 2017. Massie was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, retired from United Parcel Services and a member of Sky View Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Larmie (Ridpath) White, brothers, Gommie White and Troy White and sister, Nancy White Browning. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Dianne White of the home; sons and daughter-in-law, Ken and Gina White of Dublin and John White of Fairlawn; daughters and son-in-law, Sandy and Eugene Branscome of Woodlawn and Lois Linkous of Dublin; four grandchildren and spouses, Holly and Lee Barlow of Woodlawn, Heather and Shannon Thomas of Pulaski, Drew and Onna White of Dublin, and Trevor Linkous of Jacksonville, FL; two great grandchildren, Seth Barlow of Woodlawn and Laylah Thomas of Pulaski; and special sister-in-law and spouse, Vicky and Larry Wilson of Christiansburg.

The family wishes to express a special thanks to Dr. Charles Judy, Advanced Health Services and Intrepid Hospice of Radford.

A memorial service with military rights observed will be held at Sky View Missionary Baptist Church in Fancy Gap on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 2:00 PM with Pastors Wendell Horton and Gary Horton officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service starting at 1:00 PM. A private graveside service will follow.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be sent to Gideons International at The Gideons International Processing Center, P.O. Box 97251, Washington, DC 20090-7251.
