Mason James (Jimmy) Sharpe, Jr, 61, of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Sharpe was born in Radford to the late Mason James and Ruby Sharpe.

Survivors include his daughter, Patricia Lineberry of Hillsville; sisters and brother-in-law, Miriam Burnette of Bedford and Robin and Tommy Graham of Bluefield, VA; brother, Glen Sharpe of Stafford; aunt and uncle and their spouses, Nancy and Tommy Beasley of Hillsville and Russell and Lois Branscome of Bristol; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 22, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church in Hillsville at 2:00 PM with Pastor Robert Smith and Frank Carter officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service. Inurnment will be in Mountain Plains Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dinner Bell P.O. Box 356, Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
