Mary E. Williams, 92, of Hillsville, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her son, Carl Harding Williams; husband, Harding Williams; parents, Estel and Laura Gillespie Ayers; three brothers; and one sister. She is survived by her son, Wayne D. Williams of Hillsville; daughter-in-law Bethel Williams, of Wytheville; and three grandchildren, Erik W. Williams of Roanoke, Heather R. Austin of Wytheville, and Shane H. Williams of Afghanistan. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 1:00 PM with Pastor Chip Neely officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, one hour prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
