Mary Ann Sutphin Worrell Hill, 79 of Dugspur, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  Mrs. Hill was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Walter Kern and Alta Wilma Dalton Sutphin.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husbands, Gerald Worrell and Henry Allen Hill; brothers, Tom Sutphin and Randy Sutphin; and brothers-in-law, J.C. Roman and Loren E. Phillips.

Survivors include her son, Preston Worrell; brothers, Melvin (Von) Sutphin and David (Evonne) Sutphin; sisters, Dorothy Roman, Brenda Phillips, and Pam Cockram (Wilbur).

A graveside service with burial will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026 at the Worrell Cemetery at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
