Mary Lee Phillips, 79 of Dugspur, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Phillips was born in Pulaski, VA to the late Arnold Lee Phillips and Mary Nester Phillips Farris. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Elvin Lee Phillips; companion, Cecil Sterling Goad; sisters, Anna Phillips Perdue and Sherri Lynn Farris Lewis; and step father, Joseph Farris.

Survivors include her children and spouse, Jackie Lee and Leigh Anne Phillips of Dugspur and Audrey Lynne Phillips and companion, Steve Williams of Giles County; grandson, Nick Williams; nephew, James Andrew Perdue; niece and spouse, Christina Farris and John Morris; many close friends and family; and her beloved pets, Fancy, Pepper, and Leo.

The family would like to express a special "thank you" to Mountain Valley Hospice and Woltz Hospice Home for their wonderful care.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Kevin Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM. Inurnment will be in the Nester Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice 1477 Carrollton Pike, Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
