Mary Virginia Parks, 79 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  Mrs. Parks was born in Louisianna to the late Brady Earle and Angie Marie Mondy Russell.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Ellis Parks and sons, Joe Earle Parks and John Russell Parks.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Mary Kaegan Parks, William Russell Parks, and Anna Jacqualine Parks.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Sky View Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Pastors Wendell Horton and Gary Horton officiating.  Burial will be in the Sycamore Baptist Church Cemetery in Stuart, Virginia.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
