Mary Alice Odell Dalton, 79 of Hillsville, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Highland Ridge Rehab Center in Dublin. Mrs. Dalton was preceded in death by parents Arthur & Cynthia Hawley Odell, her husband William Dalton. She is survived by sons & daughters-in-law Michael Summers, Dublin; Leslie & Vanessa Dalton, Hillsville; Sanford & Kathy Dalton, of Woodlawn; daughter Carol E. Burton, Dublin; brothers James Hawley Odell, Dublin; Jeff ( J.D. ) Darley Odell, Fairlawn; Bobby Lynn Odell, Draper; sister Phyllis Aletta Odell Dalton, Dublin; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren also survive.

A funeral service will be held on Monday January 12, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Elder Ronald Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in the Bond Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 11, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
