Mary (Willadean) Nester, 70 of Laurel Fork, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2007 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. Mrs. Nester was preceded in death by her husband, Elder Reo Nester and a grandson, Bryan Nester. She is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law Paul & Linda Nester, Jerry & Debra Nester and Rick & Donna Nester all of Laurel Fork; brother & sister-in-law Ted & Mary Largen of Ridgeway; sister & brother-in-law Lula Mae & David Massey of Bassett; seven grandchildren & spouses Sheila & Brad Phillips, Paula & Kris Richardson, Amanda & Keith Dalton, Michael & Crystal Nester, Sheena & Dustin Marshall, Daniel Nester and Adam Nester; six great grandchildren; special friend Louise Thomas and step mother-in-law Essie Nester.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2007 at the Laurel Fork Primitive Baptist Church at 3:00 PM with Elder Johnny Belton, Elder Tim McGrady and Elder Lewis Vass officiating. Burial will follow in the Nester Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service on Sunday. Friends will be received at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Saturday night from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Flowers will be appreciated; however donations may be made to the Laurel Fork Primitive Baptist Church.
