Mary Jeanette King, 77 of Woodlawn, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at SECU Hospice Center in Yadkinville.  Mrs. King was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Wilbur Whitt and Frances Elizabeth Hawkins Lineberry.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles King.

Survivors include her three children, Renita King, Rhonda Parnell and husband, Tim, and Stephen King; siblings, Linda Banks (Ray), Gaye Hardy, Judy Myers (Ricky), Ray Lineberry, David Lineberry (Cathy), Delton Lineberry (Danielle), and Jimmy Lineberry; grandchildren, Jennifer McKenzie (Cory), Courtney Surratt, Haley Hannon (Bryon), and Andrew King; great-grandchild, Everleigh Richardson; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Lonnie Frazier officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
