Mary Jane Jones, 75 of Cana, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021 at heR home.  Mrs. Jones was born in Carroll County, VA to the late Ambrose Harden and Mary Catherine Dalton Semones.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Linwood Lee Jones; brothers, Edward Semones, Alfred Semones, Conlee Vass, and Glenn Vass; and sister, Margaret Hacklerhalf.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Patty Jones; sister, Martha Ann Semones; grandchildren, Zackery L. Jones, Brandon Noonkester, Grace Hunt and Joseph Marsh; and great-grandchildren, Eva Jo Hunt, Kyleigh, Brylee, and Bricen Farmer.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at the Hillsville Pentecostal Holiness Church at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating.  Burial will follow in the Semones Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 1:00 until 2:00 pm prior to the funeral service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
