Mary Ethel Hickey, 76 of Hillsville, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. Mrs. Hickey is survived by her husband Arthur Hickey, Jr. of the home; sons & daughters-in-law James T. & Susan Cunningham of Hillsville, Michael J. Cunningham of Silver Springs, MD, and Arthur G. & Janie S. Hickey of Hillsville; brother & sister-in-law Dexter & Jan Kemp of Richmond, VA; two grandchildren Bridgette Cunningham and A.J. Hickey; two step grandchildren & spouses Martina & Steve Manuel and Joshua & Erica Wright; one step great granddaughter Samantha Lynn Manuel and several nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 22, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with the Minister Bob Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the DeHaven Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Saturday prior to the funeral service.
