Mary Helen Goad, 88 of Hillsville passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Heritage Hall in Laurel Fork. Mrs. Goad is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Lee and Della Bolt Bowman, her husband, James Edwin Goad, two brothers, Sanford Bowman, Howard Bowman and a sister, Marie Stanley. Mrs. Goad is survived by her children, Mary Jane Espravnik and husband, Howard of Gallatin, TN, James Harold Goad of Georgetown, KY. Also surviving is her sister, Annette Marshall of Hillsville, brother, Larry Bowman and wife Joyce of Bristol, TN, Grandchildren, Jane Edwards of Hermitage, TN, Lindsey Goad of Louisville, KY, and Corey Goad of Georgetown, KY, Special Friend, Emma Crotts of Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a very special thank you to the staff of Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows for their love and care of Mary for the past five years. Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Joe Shumate officiating. The burial will follow in the Maple Shade Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 1:00P.M. until the time of services.
