Mary Edwards, 80, of Hillsville, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin and Lena Frost; infant daughter, Pamela Sue Edwards; sister, Lena Mae Roberts; brother, Roy Frost.

She is survived by her husband, Paul C. Edwards of the home; three sons and daughters in-law, Roger and Linda Edwards, Marvin and Bonnie Edwards, and Michael and Cindy Edwards all of Hillsville; two sisters and brothers in-law, Gaye and Joe Pugh of Troutdale, VA, and Irene and Jack Richardson of Mt. Rogers, VA; three grandchildren, Melissa Spraker, Daniel Edwards, and Kristen Beamer; eight great great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 26, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Elder Ronald Bowman officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, September 26, 2011 two hours prior to the funeral service from 12:00 until 2:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
