Mary Etta Collier, 87 of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Collier was preceded in death by her husband, William Elmo Collier; daughter, Mona Gail Banks; grandson, Gregory Scott Banks; great grandson, Colt Flynt Semones; parents, Obediah and Ada Nester Montgomery; brothers, Morris Montgomery, Coy Montgomery, and Eldridge Montgomery; and sisters, Iona Bell Worrell, Nona Goad, and Delpha Nester.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Boss Branscome and Yvonne and Donnie Cox, all of Dugspur; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Wilkinson Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Nathan Montgomery officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
