Mary Ellen Bond Quesenberry, 95 of Max Meadows, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born in Carroll County to the late Roscoe and Deliah May Worrell Bond. In addition to her parents, Mary Ellen was also preceded in death by her husband, Gabriel Paul Quesenberry; sons, Martin Edison Quesenberry, Gilmer Paul Quesenberry, and James Preston Quesenberry; brothers, Jack Bond, Melvin Bond, Cleon Bond, and Cecil Bond; and sisters, Fay Bond Goodson and Katherine (Mildred) Bond Rakes. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Gary Edgar and Mickey Quesenberry, Larry Wayne and Kathy Quesenberry and Gail Cole Quesenberry; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Marie and Buford Hagee and Regina Diana and Connie Grimes; grandchildren and spouses, Leigh Anne and Ronnie Amburn, Timothy Quesenberry, Randy and Biriana Quesenberry, Kathy and Ed Brewster, Amy H. and Scott Martin, Tonia Quesenberry Hall, Justin and Brandy Grimes, Jonathan and Kelsey Grimes, and Joseph Quesenberry; 14 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; sister, Judy Sifford; and brother and sister-in-law, James Otis and Argenis Bond. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Riverview Church of God, Draper, VA at 2:00 PM with Bishop Edward Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Lindsey Cemetery in Sylvatus, Virginia. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Riverview Church of God, 2703 Wysor Highway, Draper, VA 24324. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
