Marvin Jennings, 89 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Jennings was born in Carroll County to the late Thomas Andrew and Elizabeth Martin Jennings. He is survived by his wife Georgia Mitchell Jennings of the home; daughter & son-in-law Lynn & Gary Spencer of Hillsville and two grandchildren James Mitchell Spencer and Ketturah LuCinda Spencer.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2007 at Dinwiddie Presbyterian Church at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday night, July 21, 2007 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dinwiddie Presbyterian Church or to the Gideons.
