Martin Adron Amburn, 66 of Galax, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. Mr. Amburn was born in Pulaski to the late Adron McGrady and Etta Mae Moore Amburn.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Amburn of the home; son, Justin Blaine Amburn of Galax; brother-in-law, Matthew David Hawks of Fancy Gap; and several other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Elder Leonard Marshall, Elder Melvin McGrady, and Elder Eugene Brown officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
