Martha Leigh Martin 91 of Hillsville passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Matokay Dalton Barnes; husband, Earnest Martin; son, James Michael (Jimmy) Martin; sisters and spouses, Marie and Bill White, Glenna and Wakeman Goad, Lummie and Erbie Goad, Odessa and Fred Thomas, and Gladys and Caulder Morris.

Survivors include her niece and spouse, Nancy White and James Wallis; nephew and spouse, Steve and Michelle Martin; and special neighbors, Ernie and Sheila Edwards.

Graveside Service and Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Monta Vista Memory Gardens in Galax, Virginia. Pastor Rick Clark will officiate the service.  There will be no visitation.
