Martha Irene Worrell Padgett, 95 of Woodlawn, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at Hillsville Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Padgett was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late James Emmett and Daisy Alice Cox Worrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Gardner Padgett and several siblings.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service with burial following will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Turman Cemetery on Borderline Road in Willis. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
