Martha Payne Allen 90 of Hillsville passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Harrison Allen, II; parents, U.C. and Lula Lee Langford Payne; step-mother, Leota Payne; two brothers, James Donald Payne and Charles Payne.

Survivors include her children and spouses, Jean Allen White and Rev. Denton White of Niagara Falls, NY, Joan Allen Hooven and Matthew of Hillsville, VA, and John Charles Allen and Sherry of Greensboro, NC; five grandchildren and spouses, Adam White and Laura, Elizabeth Alexander and Jay, W.B. Aaron Hooven and Nikki, Claudia Allen, and Janie Catherine Allen; seven great-grandchildren, Ellery White, Abel White, Ezekiel White, Carter White, Adeline White, Harrison James Alexander, and Zella Jean Alexander;  four sisters, Elizabeth Payne, Linda Parrish, Peggy Payne, and Frances Brown.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Hillsville Presbyterian Church with Rev. Rebecca Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hillsville Presbyterian Church.
