Mark Garrett Bain, age 63, passed away in the comfort of his home on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.  Mark grew up in Floyd, Virginia, surrounded by a large family, as he had ten other siblings.  He was a hardworking and dedicated man that strived to provide the best life to his three children, Hollie, Brandon, and Dustin.  He was a loving father, son, brother, and friend to many people.  Mark had a loving heart and in his free time, enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time outdoors.  This included spending time with his sweet pets, Butters and Reese.  Although Mark battled with cancer the last few months of his life, he found his strength and peace in the Lord.  Mark will be greatly missed by his large number of friends and family.  They can rejoice in knowing that he is no longer in pain and with the Savior in heaven.

Mark is preceded in death by his father, James Bain; brothers, Alan, Mickey, and Bobby Billy Bain; and grandfather, Troy Weeks.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Bain Gallimore (Dale); siblings, Danny Bain (Jenny), Tonya Hall (David), Tammy Keith (Darren), Daniece Rodrigue (René), Jody Bain (Pam), Robbie Bain (Jenny), and Jill McCallister (Josh); children, Hollie, Brandon and Ashley Austin, and Dustin and girlfriend, Tracy Vernon; grandchildren, Zamontae (Ziggy), Shyannah, Alex, and Talon; many special nieces and nephews who will love and miss him, Jolie, Josh, Cole, Grace Mason, Christian, Ashley, Misty, Miranda, Eli, Tyler, Levi, Aiden, Jaryn, and Janysa; and fur friends, Butters and Reese.
