Marion P. Ayers, age 83, was called home by the Lord on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.  She was born in Wilmington, Delaware, on February 18, 1941, the daughter of Edward M. and Estella (Kimmey) Webster, and little sister to the late Edward H. Webster.  She was preceded in death by her baby boy, James Robert.  The only woman in her accounting class, Marion earned her Associate's Degree from Goldey-Beacom College and went on to proudly own her own accounting business for over four decades.  She loved the Lord and served Him and His people.  She was a deacon at Hillsville Christian Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir, as well as supported regional women's activities and outreach.  She is survived by her devoted children Sam and Sarah, and one grandchild, Eli.  Marion will be remembered for her kindness to others and for being a "Perpetual Pollyanna."  A fan of Disney, she loved Mickey Mouse, Fantasia, and had a pact with Peter Pan to "never grow up."

A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Thursday, February 13, at Hillsville Christian Church, 120 Edgewood Drive, Hillsville, VA. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
