Marie H. Lewis, 84 of Woodlawn, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021 at her home.  Mrs. Lewis was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Elmer and Hattie Whitt Hall.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husbands, Clyde Monroe Tate and Nelson Lewis; son, Gary Clyde Tate; brothers, Doug Whitt, Raymond Hall, Odell Hall, Melvin Hall, and Clinton Hall; and sister, Ellen Beasley.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Caroline and Richard Hall; special granddaughter and spouse, Stephanie and Chad Bond; three grandchildren; special great-grandson, Jace Bond; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Lura Jenkins; brothers and sisters-in-law, Russell and Mary Ann Hall, and Maynard and Lois Hall; and sisters-in-law, Brenda Hall, Peggy J. Hall and Peggy L. Hall.

A graveside service with burial will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Worrell Cemetery with Doug Goad officiating.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
