Margie Nester, 89 of Florence, SC passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017 at McLead Hospice House in Florence, SC. Mrs. Nester was preceded in death by her son, Gary Nester; parents, Ellis and Lila Goad; brothers, Berlin Goad, Arlie Goad, and Vernon Goad; and sisters, Ina Mae Tolbert and Ruby Thomas.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda McMillian; grandson, Michael McMillian; sisters, Betty Carter, Ann Akers, Ivery Dalton, Opal Alderman, and Imogene Nester; brother, Douglas Goad; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be held in the Ellis Goad Cemetery in Dugspur on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
