Margie Eloise Caviness Clontz, 89 of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Clontz was born in Virginia to the late George Washington and Georgia Ellen Parnell Caviness. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Willie James Clontz; brothers, Alvin Caviness and June Caviness; and sister, Mandy Ogle.

Survivors include her children and spouses, James Randel Clontz, Warren Ray Clontz, Debra Clontz Bolen and Ben, William Lloyd Clontz and Melissa, Linda Clontz Gibson and Jimmy, Wayne Dale Clontz and Kim, and Sandra Caviness Alderman and Sandy Cochran; sisters, Mamie Brooks, Claudie Mabe, Iris Coble, Marie Rosenbaum, Cora Lindsey, and Betty Clyburn; brother, Dewey Ray Caviness; grandchildren and spouses, Tammy Funk Burnett, Eric Funk, Willie Clontz and Deborah, Bronson Clontz and Crystal, Kandace Clontz, Zachary Clontz and April, Haley Clontz Rector and Mikey, Brett Bond and Jamie Taylor, Brooke Quesenberry and Wyatte Pickett, Jimmy Gibson, and Seth Alderman; ten great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Gerald Humphrey officiating. Burial will follow in the Alderman-Clontz Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
