Margaret Bowles Worrell Goad, 87 of Hillsville, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows. Mrs. Goad was born in Bland County, Virginia to the late Charles Kemper and Leona Harner Bowles. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Delton Worrell; second husband, Theron Goad; sisters, Ruth Bowles Hypes and Thelma Porterfield; and brothers, Ira Bowles and Bailey Bowles.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Worrell DeHaven and Michael; sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Jill Worrell, Jody and Laura Worrell, Theron Brady Goad, and Brian Keith Goad; seven grandchildren, Kevin DeHaven and Donna, Andrew DeHaven, Megan Worrell Viet, Bethany Worrell Smith, Isaac Worrell, Eli Worrell, and Ashley Goad; four great-grandchildren, Camden DeHaven, Clara DeHaven, Anderson Viet, and Ila Grayce Smith; and two brothers, Jack Bowles and Larry Bowles.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Reece Cemetery in Dugspur at 1:00 PM with Pastor David Bays officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Reece Cemetery in Dugspur or a charity of your choice. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
