Margaret Ellen White, 82 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025 at Woltz Hospice Home.  Mrs. White was born in Carroll County to the late Clifton and Bertha Reynolds Jackson.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Tony Lee White and sister, Jean Bolen.

Survivors include her husband, David Gernon White, Sr.; son and daughter-in-law, David and Kip White; grandchildren, Jesse White (Felicia), Joshua White, and Isree White; siblings, J.L. Jackson (Carlene), Sue Jackson Hurd, and Donnie Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service with inurnment will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Little Vine Cemetery at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
